During the first exhibition weekend there will be a number of activities – for example you can see a professional calligrapher demonstrate the wondrous visual world of Arabic scripts and experience a 16-member traditional music ensemble.

Karima Al Shomely, visual artist, calligrapher Tagelsir Hassan and filmmaker
Khalil Abdulwaheed, Sharjah, will introduce their work.
MOONLIGHT OASIS, a Danish/Arabic site-specific work for Sharjah, will
be presented by the Danish architect Jane Havshoj.
The Danish architects ADEPT/Martin Krogh Hansen and Martin Laursen will
discuss SALAMANDER, their project for an Arab Cultural Institute in
Copenhagen.
